Bumi votes in the bag, says CM Taib

bn supreme council mt meeting sapp sabah issue 190608 taib mahmudThe bumiputeras will still strongly support the BN in the next state election which must be held before May next year, Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud said today.

The result of the May 16 Sibu by-election showed that the community’s support for the BN had increased, he said when launching the “Sejiwa Senada Government With The People” programme at SK Perbandaran 3 in Sibu today.

The programme, a role and function exhibition by government departments and agencies, is the first of a series to be held statewide this year.

Its basic aim is to improve the government administration delivery system in conjunction with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak’s Government Transformation Programme.

Taib  said he was confident of the bumiputeras continuing support because they believed in organised efforts and good clear policies in struggling for their betterment.

“The bumiputeras are humble. They know they are poor and in difficulty. So they place high hopes in the government to help them out.”

He said that in the by-election, although there were people from outside trying to undermine their confidence in the government, the Malays, Ibans, Melanaus and others had been “humble enough to recognise that they still depend on a working government for their fate.”

DAP state chairman Wong Ho Leng defeated SUPP Robert Lau Hui Yew with a majority of 398 votes to win the Sibu seat which has 54,695 registered voters, about 67 percent of whom are Chinese.

  1. ” …The bumiputeras are humble. They know they are poor and in difficulty. So they place high hopes in the government to help them out. …”

Yes, you’re right Taibo! They are poor and so much less enlightened because you never did honor them! You denied most things to them. You did not empower them, so you could misrule them. In other words, you are a “jaguh kampung”, you’re parochial and you are a pariah !

If they think we could move anywhere nearer higher income, that’s you and Najis, as pariahs talking!

If the bumi votes are gonna be in the bag, lots more perhaps, will not be in yours ! :D

You look down on Penans, robbed them of their lands. You should honor them, Taibo! Penans are your roots. The Penans are really your great forefathers. The Penan word “kuman” is the Melanau “keman” and the Malay “makan”. So the Melanaus moved up. That’s fine. Do not dishonor other Penans from whence you came.

If you cannot, can you look and honor deservedly anyone else? Your own kind or others?!!!

You were right once when you teased young senior public servants and managers that even Dayaks were Malays. But you believed those Brit jerks and UMNO pariahs.

Maybe now Malayo-Polinesians in Malaysia can begin to find greater honor of their humble beginnings instead of being spurned and looked down by you and your UMNO cohorts!

Time will, tell, Taibo! How the bag will do!

    • Well said Watcha, this Penan Taib obviously lupakan kulit!

How can he be so heartless as to cheat on the poor, humble and illiterate natives his kind? Rather than helping them out economically with quality of life, he has betrayed their trusts and hope to the extent screw them up yet, they still give him their votes? Sigh!!!

      Dear Bumi natives of Sarawak,
Why should Taib be a priority in your lives when YOU mean nothing to him?
This scumbag Penan has been leeching on YOU and your family for 38 years(?!!) and if you continue to vote for him, YOU deserve to be where you are – hopeless, landless without work and no future! Turn around, claim your rights, think of your children and their grandchildren, and say “NO” to cheats like Taib/BN!

      • Teruk ler!

Taibo not only lupakan kulit, he’s skinning us alive! He has stripped SESCO into naked bankruptcy.

Sarawakians will have to call on the great spirit of Bujang Senang. Maybe he’ll give us thicker hides, so Taibo can skin us no more! :(

  2. That’s right, our BN goons are so morally and intellectually feeble that they have to keep playing the race card. Their arrogance and conceit will only lose them more votes. Sarawakians are humble people – but BN ministers are bullies and don’t know the meaning of the word humble.

  3. You were right Mr Taib Mahmud to say that the Bumiputras in Sarawak which I believe you were referring to the rural poor, needed the government to help them because they knew they were poor and lived a very difficult life BUT these rural poor have yet to tell you that they need a new government to help them!

Mr Taib Mahmud, you can’t fool all the rural poor all the times and even your own Melanaus are voting against you. Only a Bodoh Sombong like you will like to think the Bumiputras votes are already in your bag. Bring it on Mr Taib, dissolve the DUN now and call for state election.
