The royal probe was apt to only bring problems, said Dr Mahathir.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today he disagreed with Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s decision to set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into Sabah’s illegal immigrant problem, pointing out that such a panel would bring no solutions and instead complicate matters.
His latest remarks come even as the prime minister prepares to announce the terms of reference for the RCI tomorrow in Sabah, in what is seen as a bid to head off the potential for a revolt in the east Malaysian state over the illegal immigrants issue, after two Barisan Nasional (BN) lawmakers quit recently citing the federal government’s lack of resolve in solving the surge in the number of foreigners in the state.
“The RCI will not deliver any result that will solve the problems. When there is an RCI it will bring about other matters,” the former prime minister told reporters today.
Some opposition politicians have blamed Dr Mahathir for the growth of illegal immigrant numbers in Sabah, pointing to the fact that the state saw a huge increase in population during his time as the prime minister.
But Dr Mahathir, who was premier from 1981 until 2003, sought to justify the increase in Sabah’s population in the latest posting on his blog earlier this week.
Earlier this week, he defended the increase in the number of migrants in Sabah, pointing out that they qualified to be citizens because they have been staying in Malaysia for decades and spoke Bahasa Malaysia.
“I have been accused of apparently bringing them (illegal immigrants) in … We don’t have to do that because they came on their own.
“Previously they have been coming and going. They are not alien to Sabah; they have been going back and forth between Sabah and the Philippines. Maybe they feel Sabah is safer and that is why they stay there,” said Dr Mahathir today.
He highlighted that, while he was PM, he had directed the authorities to repatriate the foreigners but it was a pointless exercise because they kept returning.
Yesterday a Sabah-based Barisan Nasional (BN) party condemned Dr Mahathir for his “insensitive” defence of Sabah’s increasing migrant population, an emotive issue that will likely be central to the pact’s campaign for the state in the coming polls.
The United Pasokmomogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (UPKO) said in a statement in Kota Kinabalu that Dr Mahathir, whom the opposition has blamed for Sabah’s unchecked population increase, had confused the state’s illegal immigrants with its legal migrants.
Najib had announced the highly-anticipated RCI on Sabah’s illegals issue on June 1 but stopped short of revealing details of the panel’s composition and terms of reference.
The issue has been bandied about in the media for nearly six months since February 10 when Sabah BN leader Tan Sri Bernard Dompok’s first announced Cabinet’s decision to form the RCI.
The unchecked influx of illegal immigrants in Sabah has been a longstanding problem in the BN-ruled state, and frequently blamed for the rise in social, economic and security problems suffered by the locals here.
According to replies provided in Parliament last year, Sabah’s populace numbered 651,304 in 1970 and grew to 929,299 a decade later. But in the two decades following 1980, the state’s population rose significantly by a staggering 1.5 million people, reaching 2,468,246 by 2000.
Media reports said that as of 2010, this number has grown further to 3.12 million, with foreigners making up a sizeable 27 per cent or 889,799 of the population.
Opposition leaders have long raged against the BN government for this population explosion, alleging that illegals have been allowed into the east Malaysian state, and given MyKads and voting rights to help the ruling coalition cling to power.

He thought that it was a clever trap to trapped the Kadazan Dusun and other natives in UMNO clutches forever. Well, the supossedly fool proof trap trapped the TRAPPER HIMSELF. Correct!Correct!Correct!Simply put,it is pointless and a farce to have any inquiry on any abuse by the BN as long as BN is in power. The right and left hands still belong to the same person. It is very rare for a sane person to beat himself. The only solution is to change the government

Illegal immigrants given Mycard and registered as voters by certain quarters and with the tacit approval of the sitting government, cannot and must not be allowed to vote and determine the future of all Malaysians. Malaysians of all races, especially Malaysian Malays must be absolutely clear about their rights to prevent these illegal immigrants from determining our future and undermining our choice of government and occupying our space and lands by virtue of being given Mycards by traitors of this nation and race..

Mahathir is using his diminishing influence to get the police not to cooperate with RCI. It is all a bluff and a Najib’s gimmick and if GE13 is held before the RCI is completed.

Mahathir is the Author of “Project I.C” and setting up of RCI would complicate him directly. Look at his unpatriotic comments : “…………………we don’t have to do that because they come on their own…………..
maybe they feel Sabah is safer and that is why they stay there……………………..to repatriate the foreigners…..but it was a pointless exercise because they kept returning.”
So, indeed Sabah is like a paradise or heaven for the illegal immigrants and they have been offered free entry, free mykads and free special rights at the expense of the locals as long as they are willing to vote for umno/bn. All these have been possible because of this devil in disguise as human.
Now, the message is clear and Najib’s RCI is just a fake. I call upon all Sabahan voters to reject umno/bn
outright in the GE13 if you love your state.

As always nothing constructive will come out of this.
It does serve 2 purposes – to spin Najib’s hollow promises n lies; to keep UMNO warlords of his back.
If UMNO gangsters are nice he does nothing as usual.
BN is not a party in government but mafias out to rob rakyat.
Najib has given Genting cronies Raya angpow, the affirmative action, to make money out of Malay Felda settlers!

If Najib is truly sincere, he could have announced the RCI term of reference 6 months ago and or he should have guaranteed all Malaysians that there shall be no election before the completion of the investigation and the EC shall concurrently clean up its electoral records as well.

Surely by now umno grass root members know who the devil is. They have had been belittled by their TUAN who recruited aliens in order to gain political power and strength without actually thinking and caring for their young Malaysians’ future, Malaysia tanahku.
Hordes of young Malaysians have realised those buggers had been badly marred their homeland. The crooked wavy weapon comprising race, language and religion that had been used as political traits when during the heat on operation lallang and now irrelevant to modern 1Malaysia societies.
Why the nil ruling on these illegal immigrants that they must undergo a full understandings on living Sabahan ethnic cultures and traditions first before they can be considered for temporary absorption into becoming rightful citizenship then?
Again, guess what will be the today’s umno members, young and old, reactions when Sabahan’s proposed an immediate compulsory shipment of all these immigrants to the Barat instead.
Ha ha, ever a devil admits mistake.

Of course with Najib’s RCI on illegal problems it’ll only caused problems and complicated matters, but not towards Najib, but to Tun Kutty,it will reveal how he sold out the country and he should be hung for Treason,my advised to Najib and Rosmah is,Well Rosmah, please give back Najib’s balls so he can act decisively n arrest Tun Bastards Kutty and then arrest all of Mamak’s henchmen, then to Malaysians he
can show enough courage and not Flip Flop, and for once silence his critics within Umno, implement all the good policies and follow it thru to the letter that he has intended n truly show Malaysian that he is a capable PM. And with his balls back, perhaps he can tone down Rosmah’s antics, and perhaps gain some sympathy from middle class and thinking Malaysian. Then for next 5 years,he can show how we Malaysian can regain our confidence.Restore the Judiciary,MACC and the Police,Disband RELA,send Ibrahim Ali the Frog into Kamunting for 20 years, chop off the warlords power and appoint new n smarter politicians, have a joint Govt with the opposition for the good of all Malaysians,my 50 sens worth ( Inflation maa )

MAHATHIR’S LEGACY OF POVERTY & DIVIDED PEOPLE
MALAYSIA DAY’S JANJI TAK DITEPATI RAKYAT DIBOHONGI
http://borneoherald.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/malaysia-days-janji-tak-ditepati-rakyat.html
What a East Malaysian think on the eve of Merdeka
In the past 55 years and more, they have made us poorer still.
After more than 50 years of “Janji tak diTepati, Rakyat selalu diBohongi”, Iet us say goodbye to UMNO BN. Is this coming GE 13 (PRU 13) the end of BN in Sabah? Sabahans must realise that they have replaced the white men imperialist’s colonialism with brown skin UMNOputras.
In the year 1963, people of Sabah and Sarawak were conned or sweet-talked to join Malaysia; and later still, UMNO either branded them as “pendatang” and now classify them into Bumi versus non Bumi. Even if they were classified Bumi, their status are second class Bumi only unlike the peninsular Bumis (Malays mostly) who are more privileged.

Mahathir Mahamad is an incorrigible racist, hypocrite and liar. The majority of the nation’s Malays and Bumiputras had never benefited from his policies and that of his predecessors. So anything the BN does now which will lead to a free, clean and fair election and curbing corruption effectively will only spell disasters for himself and all UMNO leaders especially and some BN leaders from the smaller parties.
Even a change in disbursing petroleum revenue to oil producing states and a change in the national automobile policy will effective kill Mahathir’s and UMNO leaders’ business.

Sultan Johor Minta Dr M Hidup Seperti Pesara
Bernama 24/10/2006

The speech, which lasted for about five minutes, is the first time a state ruler has come out in public to defend the present administration.
Those present at the prayers included Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman, exco members, politicians and senior government officials.
Abdullah and Dr Mahathir were among the recipients of Johor’s highest state award – the Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Pertama (DK I).
Sources said that the Sultan had been keenly monitoring the developments between the two leaders.
Later, the Sultan hosted a Hari Raya open house at the Istana Besar grounds.
Thousands enjoyed a buffet spread while children joyfully received duit raya and goodie boxes.

MAHATHIR’S ADMISSION OF ANTI-PEOPLE CRIMES SIT HEAVILY ON HIS MIND
Mahathir is well aware of the hate and accusations against him for countless crimes he committed against the peoples of Malaya Sabah and Sarawak.
“I have been accused of apparently bringing them (illegal immigrants) in … We don’t have to do that because they came on their own.”
When he began his time a Malaysian PM many hailed him as a progressive “nationalists”, he had a “plan” he was a republican, he was a nationalist who opposed foreign domination.
All this praise turned out to be proven false.
Mahathir proved that he was the opposite of these perceived qualities. He first and foremost a race bigot who exploited the UMNO Malay supremacist ideology to promote his own cause.
The plight of Sabah submerged by a flood of illegal migrants and doubling its population in the space of some 35 years was and is a direct result of Mahathir’s political and econmic policies. He has openly acknowledged his error and regretted this a t one stage.
Now he lies and denies his error.
