Taib: Prove Sarawak is still BN’s safe deposit

“We must prove that we are still the BN safe deposit. We are going to support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak with the much needed two-third majority or even bigger,” he said when opening the Sarawak Progressive Democratic Party’s (SPDP) Ninth Triennial General Assembly at the Civic Centre here today.Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud wants all state Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties to go all out to ensure a two-third majority win in the coming election.

“We all want a strong government at the national level. I believe all the people want this. Sarawak will play a big role in this,” he added.

He said Najib was a leader who can unite all races in the country and had enough experience to rule well and to deliver promises or pledges made.

Taib said it was absolutely essential that the ordinary people were told the message so that the country could continue to be well governed for their own benefit.

“For my PBB (Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu), the message to all members is to forget everything but ensure a total win for all candidates of the coalition in all constituencies contested.

“I am glad SPDP, as stressed earlier in his speech by its president William Mawan, is on the same course. I believe, our other partners like the Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) and the Party Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) will also be equal to the task,”

Taib also stressed whatever problems faced by any component parties should not be stirred when the election came.

“People who have problems within their own parties should bury their
differences and work for the common good of BN.    I believe the signs are there that they will work together,” he said adding that the two-third majority was only a conservative figure as he expected an even bigger win.

“I do not want to boast and I have yet to do the analysis of the winnable seats. But we are very capable of achieving this.”

He also said he would leave it to the prime minister to select all the state BN candidates for the election as this was a parliamentary election.

  1. An open letter to Prime Minister Najib:

We are the people of Sarawak. We have enough of Taib to be our Chief Minister. All he does is to steal from the people to enrich himself, his family, his friends and his cronies.

We want you to get rid of him.

Taib made a promise in the last state election that he would step down in two years time. The “two years” is coming up.

Let us, the people of Sarawak make a pact with you:
If you can publicly announce that you would require Taib to keep his promise and step down after this election, we will pass the word round to fully support you as our next (elected) Prime Minister. We will give you all the seats in Sarawak, without any election.

We will ask all the opposition parties not to stand against any BN candidates, if you will remove Taib.

We do not want a Thief Minister anymore!!

We will make sure that you will have your two-third majority!

If you are truly a Prime Minister for Malaysia and for Sarawak, please help us to get rid of Taib!!

Lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu!!

Hope you will get your two-third majority.

    Yours truly

    • Najib is another thief and partner in crime of Taib Mahmud and you want him to be retained as our PM if he asks Taib to step down? You must be retarded!

  2. Yes! Forget everything! Forget the poverty, the exploitation, the land theft, the corruption, the brutality towards dissidents. But remember to keep me in power

  4. Sarawakians do not want you and UMNO controlled BN anymore. In the past you were able to abuse your power and use money politics to colonise and enslave the minds of the rural poor who were at your mercy for whatever painfully slow developments and basic amenities that reached their door steps. The rural poor who are predominantly Dayaks shall no longer fear backlash and being victimised by the highly corrupted, abusive, repressive and oppressive UMNO controlled BN government.

We want you and your gang of thieves and cronies to be investigated for massive corruption and abuse of power and be prosecuted according to the laws of this country.

Sarawak shall revolt and Sarawakians shall stand united to deliver a strong mandate for Pakatan Rakyat.
