Najib attends closed-door meeting with Sabah Umno members

Najib, who is Umno president, arrived at the Sabah Umno Building at 8pm, accompanied by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman, who is also Sabah Umno chairman, and Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Yahya Hussin, who is Sabah Umno secretary.

The meeting was part of Najib’s programmes during his two-day work visit to the state.

The prime minister began his visit earlier today by opening the Lupak Meluas People’s Housing (PPR) Project in Sandakan and going on a walkabout at the Harbour Square.

Tomorrow, he is scheduled to officiate the opening of the Sipitang Pan Borneo project in Sindumin before going on another walkabout in Putatan.

In the evening, Najib is scheduled to attend the wedding reception of the Senallang assemblyman Datuk Sri Nasir Sakaran’s son before heading back to Kuala Lumpur. z
