Jemoreng assemblyman Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya said parties need to bring up relevant facts to the authority handling the NCR land issue.

“Come forward and face the authority instead of making speculations in the mass media and social media,” he told Utusan Borneo Thursday.

According to him, there were certain parties especially from the opposition fold who thought they were acting heroically in this issue when in fact they were causing further tension and confusion instead of solving the problem.

“Creating such tensed and unpleasant atmosphere among the people will not help. They (opposition) cannot solve this (NCR) issue because only the government can work for land rights and justice,” he said.

Juanda believes that the Barisan Nasional (BN) government has worked hard to give the best and fairness to all races and ethnic groups in this state.

He also hopes that the resolutions from the conference on NCR, which was attended by various community leaders recently, will bring the solutions needed to the NCR issue.

“This is our government’s efforts so they (opposition) should not be shameless and take the credit,” he added.

  2. If this guy didnt want the opposition to muddy the water he should have had them invited to the conference to explain to the BN people their supposedly speculative and tension charged view points. Why shut the opposition out from this very important discussion unless of course you dont want the people to know how much they know and how strong their view points and arguements are!
Isnt it the opposition who have helped defending and won cases in the courts on behalf of NCR land owners?
What has this guy done to protect land owners from being knee capped, blugeon and shot at?
What has he to say about the late Bill Kayong?
Was his death fair to this yb?

  3. If the Sarawak BN robbers had not been encroaching and grabbing the NCR land there would have been no conflicting NCR issues . Oppostion leaders were merely doing the job of check and balance and seeking justice for the aggrieved parties. Any bad , corrupted and imcompetent have no right to hang on to power through cheatings in election .
