BN must be destroyed VIII

Dean Johns

In little more than a week from now, Najib Abdul Razak will be faced with the fact that he and his phoney 1Malaysia have finally lost Malaysia, and the vast majority of Malaysians will be congratulating themselves on having won their beloved country back.

Because even if BN manages to steal back into power by hook or its customary crook, it will be living on borrowed – or rather bought – time, and surviving only in fear and dread of how even more urgently than ever the people will want to see it destroyed. (more…)

French lawyer in Penang to expose Scorpene deal

Susan Loone

French lawyer William Bourdon, who is slated to speak at Suaram’s fundraising dinner tonight, has arrived safely in Penang today.

Bourdon’s flight from KLIA touched down at 10.25am and he gained entry into the state without any hassle.

After a week, I was convinced of the truth of my teacher’s statement. I have never seen a politician speaking such poor English on the international stage. I verily believe that the world must have been laughing at us then.

Since then, Najib has improved his English. (more…)

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today announced his much awaited cabinet.

His press conference to make the announcement started at 3pm. He is flanked by Muhyiddin Yassin.

The cabinet reflects the government’s aim to focus of people-first paradigm, Najib said, adding that there would be 28 ministers and 40 deputy ministers.

He said two ministries have been merged and one new ministry formed. A separate portfolio has also been created to oversee national unity under the PM’s Department.

He also said that he would personally look into the performance of each minister every six months.
